calligraphy , Art of beautiful, stylized, or elegant handwriting or lettering with pen or brush and ink. It involves the correct formation of characters, the ordering of the various parts, and the harmony of proportions. In the Islamic and Chinese cultures, calligraphy is as highly revered as painting.

Intro to calligraphy
“Calligraphy is the art of forming beautiful symbols by hand and arranging them well. it’s a set of skills and techniques for positioning and inscribing words so they show integrity, harmony, some sort of ancestry, rhythm and creative fire.”
Development
Although calligraphy has been around in some form for roughly 3,000 years, the word wasn’t used as a distinction until around the mid-15th century after the introduction of printing in Europe. This was when a clear distinction was created between normal handwriting and more elaborate forms of script writing.
Design
Calligraphy is defined as the form of handwritten lettering or decorative writing by hand. For centuries now, people from all over the world have produced calligraphy by the use of special ink pens or brushes and ink.
