Latest Project

As part of my ongoing efforts to contribute to the field of journalism and media, I initiated the podcast series titled “Chit Chat with JSS”, which has been an incredibly rewarding and insightful project. The series, created under the supervision of my coordinator, Miss Moazma Fiaz, aims to foster engaging discussions on a variety of topics, ranging from current events to specialized fields like Management Sciences, education, and career development.

Working with Miss Moazma Fiaz has been a guiding force throughout this journey, and her support has been invaluable in ensuring the quality and consistency of the episodes. The positive feedback and growing listenership have motivated me to continue this project, and I look forward to producing more seasons with even more exciting content.

Graphic Designing

I have developed strong graphic design skills through hands-on experience working with Grus Grill and various university societies. My work involved creating eye-catching promotional materials, social media graphics, and event posters.

Video Editing

I have honed my video editing skills through various projects, including work with university societies. This experience involved editing promotional videos, event highlights, and social media content, ensuring they were engaging and aligned with brand messages.

Management

As the President of the Journalism Streak Society (JSS), I have successfully managed and organized a wide range of university events and workshops. This role has involved coordinating with faculty, and ensuring smooth execution of each activity.

Reporting/Interviewing

As a student, I have gained valuable experience in reporting and interviewing. I’ve conducted interviews for various projects, honing my ability to ask insightful questions and gather important information.

Experiences

In 2023, I worked as a Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer for the fast food restaurant, Grus Grill. My responsibilities included managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and designing promotional materials to boost brand visibility. I developed a content strategy, created visually appealing posts, and helped increase customer engagement, contributing to the restaurant’s online presence and growth. This experience enhanced my skills in digital marketing, content creation, and graphic design.

I am a Microsoft Specialist with a certification I earned through a course at Punjab College in 2022. This course provided me with in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms, helping me develop technical skills in areas such as Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, cloud solutions, and more. The program at Punjab College equipped me with both theoretical understanding and practical expertise, enhancing my ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and manage Microsoft-based systems and applications effectively.
